On site Our application and engineering partner, Geo Constech, injects the same grouts and resins on tunnels, railways, dams and mines.

Two components, four resultsComponent A and component B of a two-component grade are pumped and mixed at the injection head. Depending on the chemistry, the mix sets as a gel (acrylate gels such as Teracryl), a flexible foam (hydrophilic and flexible polyurethane such as PuTeRA 2455), a rigid foam (PuTeRA 2430 VG, Level Up) or a solid (epoxy and silicate resins such as Geo-EP 2422 and DrucPietra).   1. Component A: the resin side of a two-component grade.
  2. Component B: the reactive side - an isocyanate, a hardener or an initiator, depending on the chemistry.
  3. A two-component pump meters both and mixes them at the injection head.
  4. The mix sets as a gel, a flexible foam, a rigid foam or a solid, by chemistry and grade. One-component grades react with the water they meet.

Are you choosing PU, or guessing PU?

Start from two questions: what the material has to enter, and what it has to become.

Chemistry map: what each product can enter and what it becomesIndicative chart. Acrylate gels such as Teracryl enter fine soil and hairline cracks and set as a gel. Hydrophilic and flexible PuTeRA grades go into cracks and joints and cure as flexible foam. Geo-EP 2422 epoxy bonds cracks as a solid. DrucPietra, PuTeRA 2421 and GeoFine microfine cement enter sand, gravel and fissured rock and set solid. PuTeRA 2430 VG, S161, 2406 HS and Level Up fill open voids and cavities as rigid foam.
